HEPCIII: Preventing Hepatitis C Through Community-Led Harm Reduction

This research study evaluates the best approaches for Low Dead Space Syringe (LDSS) distribution among PWID in Gombe State. The study will assess the impact, cost-effectiveness, and integration of HCV testing and treatment into community-based harm reduction programs, generating evidence to improve outcomes in low-resource settings.

AKWA IBOM

Enhancing Harm Reduction Services for Women Who Use Drugs in Akwa Ibom State

This project aims to increase access to HIV, harm reduction, and sexual and reproductive health services for women who use or inject drugs. Using a community-based, peer-driven approach, it builds local capacity and addresses barriers such as law enforcement raids and limited service reach. Additionally, the project strengthens community-led referral and linkage systems, ensuring that these essential services are recognized as fundamental human rights.
